Risk Inter-Dealer Rankings 2008

Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking voted #1 Global Provider in Equity Derivatives in Risk magazine. The global wholesale banking market voted Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking the # 1 global provider in equity derivatives in the 2008 Inter-Dealer Rankings, published in Risk Magazine's September issue.

The bank is named at the top of all four equity derivatives categories:

• OTC single stock equity products
• Equity index options
• Warrants
• Exotic equity products

These rankings reflect the solidity of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking's franchise and the industry's recognition of its teams and products, in an exceptionally challenging environment. Risk surveyed global dealers and brokers to list their top three providers in interest rate, currency, credit and equity derivatives. Results were based on client votes which indicated their preferred derivative supplier by capabilities, innovation, service, liquidity, and price. This year's survey results were based on over 900 industry responses.
